The Drug, Alcohol and Gambling Service at Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Health aims to prevent and minimise harm associated with the use of drugs, alcohol and gambling.
This is a free service. It is part of the Northern Sydney Drug and Alcohol Counselling Service.

Drug, Alcohol and Gambling Service, Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Health Service, part of the Northern Sydney Drug and Alcohol Counselling Service.
What do we do?
We offer a wide range of free and confidential services for individuals and their families who may be concerned about the effects of alcohol or drugs.
This includes psychological assessment, individual counselling, smoking cessation and education/information.
Other services include:
- Brief intervention and controlled drinking for prevention of hazardous or harmful alcohol consumption
- Gambling counselling
- groups for family/friends of problem gamblers
- Education and training for community and professional groups
How you can access our service
This is a free service. Clients are seen by appointment.
Our service is open Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm. All bookings can be made on 9477 9567.

We are a multidisciplinary team, consisting of Psychologists, Registered Nurses, a
Psychiatrist, a Medical Specialist (doctor) and Administration staff.
