We hope this will help you understand why you can be confident about the care that we offer you. You might also like to fill in and return our feedback form, because we do value your feedback and suggestions. In 2004, and again in 2009, HKHS was granted four year's accreditation by the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards (ACHS). This is a great result, and the best outcome attainable, reflecting very positively on the efforts of all staff within the organisation. You might also like to look at our latest Operational Plan. The Business Plan for Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Health Service has traditionally been a planning and management tool aimed at keeping us, as an organisation, focused on key strategies. In 2004 we broadened the scope of the Business Plan by providing an overview of our local population and the key factors which have an impact on health. We updated this information in our operational plans for both 2006/07 and 2007/08. We also included once again, input from consumer and community representatives and local councils. We have two of the operational plan maps available for download here: the sector map and the population density map. The next few years will see some significant improvements at Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospital, with the new multi-storey emergency, obstetrics and paediatrics building now complete. You can learn about this and other building works on our redevelopment information page. At Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Health Service, we are committed to making your contact with us as helpful as possible. Should you have any concerns or questions please feel free to contact us and we will do all we can to help. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
