Message in a Bottle

As we age, the body's ability to metabolise alcohol changes. The effects of alcohol can be increased when combined with medication, and additionally alcohol can directly influence the effectiveness of medications.
Message in a Bottle
is an educational resource for older people and health professionals who provide care for older people. It aims to raise awareness of the implications of mixing alcohol and medication, both prescription and non-prescription.
